FINANCE SUPPORT GROUP

  • KPI 1: By 30 September 2020, the Finance Support Group will have established a monitoring and supporting process for the budget, including documentation pertaining thereto.

  • KPI 2: By the end of the triennium, the FSG will have written proposals for best practices in finance, investments and fundraising based upon consultation and reconciliation in particular with the European Scout Committee, the fundraising group and the European Scout Foundation.

  • KPI 3: By Q4/2020, the Finance Support Group has in place reporting standards translating the analysis and controls of the budget into understandable language, pictures and figures.

  • KPI 4: By the end of the triennium, the Finance Support Group has analysed current Investments of the foundation, and has given a recommendation for more sustainable investments and, if necessary, an adjustment of the investment policy.

  • KPI 5: By the end of each calendar year, the Finance Support Group will have reviewed the current financial management of the region and propose specific proposals as to how to improve the financial management by new initiatives.

THE TEAM

GROWTH POTENTIAL TASK FORCE

Building on the Region’s efforts in the area of Growth, a Project targeting NSOs with Growth Potential was launched at the beginning of the triennium. This project is run by a team of Consultants composed of Rose-Marie, Jordan, Kevin, Andrea and Pieter, with an oversight of Matthias and Lars from the Committee. The team’s objective is to support further growth of Scouting and facilitate a platform for mutual exchange on experiences in recruiting, retaining and diversifying the membership. The NSOs involved in the project are representing Montenegro, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Croatia and Romania.
